  • We are recruiting for Casual Transition Mentors to join our Supported Accommodation programme in South Ayrshire.

Supported Accommodation South Ayrshire aims to support the local authority’s goal of reducing levels of repeat homelessness by providing a high-quality housing support service in Ayr. •  Support young people to access opportunities to engage positively within their communities through social diversionary activities and inclusion, promote positive social network and encourage engagement with friends and family as appropriate.
    •  Work directly with young people to gain their trust and to support them to engage in learning experiences that promote their educational attainment, academic qualifications, self confidence, independent living skills and resilience.
    •  Promote active and responsible citizenship, including being a responsible tenant.
    •  Monitor and record to a high level of detail and accuracy the assessment and progress of young people supported in the service. Produce and present reports as requested, relating to individual young people’s progress.

  • About Us

  • We are Right There, a charity that recently celebrated our 200th anniversary. We provide tailored support for people, at home, and in the community. We are here for people who are living with the effects of homelessness, poverty, substance use, or family breakdowns.

Last year we supported almost 4,000 individuals, helping to prevent them from becoming homeless or separated from the people they love. Every person’s story is unique, and everyone’s route home is different - it doesn’t matter what the situation is – we’re not here to judge, only to help.
