Our Property team is responsible for the management of a portfolio of over 600 properties varying in size throughout Glasgow and reaching into Edinburgh and the team consists of general administration, maintenance workers, technicians and painters
As Property Clearance and Maintenance Worker, you will be part of our uplift and removal team, clearing properties, delivering essential household items and completing minor repairs and planned maintenance. You will work safely and efficiently, helping properties move towards completion while treating colleagues, contractors and the people we support with dignity and respect.
Your role
- Clear property contents, including fixtures and fittings, furnishings, white goods, flooring and consumables.
- Deliver furniture, white goods, flooring and other essential items as required.
- Complete basic cleaning on a clean-as-you-go basis and use approved cleaning products during clearance and final checks.
- Identify opportunities to recycle or upcycle items removed from properties.
- Dispose of waste promptly and ensure the appropriate waste transfer documentation is completed.
- Carry out minor repairs and general planned maintenance when required.
- Complete risk assessments before work begins, use the correct personal protective equipment and follow health and safety requirements.
- Record the time, materials and consumables used for each job.
- Keep vehicles, tools, equipment and IT devices clean, safe and in good condition.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, highlighting any issues that could delay completion.
We’re looking for someone that has gained experience of carrying out repairs, cleaning and labouring duties as well as good DIY skills. You will have a good understanding of health and safety with a commitment to working safely and to a high standard, you will also have basic computer skills with the ability to use mobile technology to record time and materials accurately.
A full, valid driving license is an essential requirement.

- Your normal working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

Your main place of work is Rosemount Business Park, Charles Street, Glasgow, G21 with regular travel to property locations

Annual leave entitlement of 210 hours (equivalent to 6 weeks) pro rata per year in the first year rising to 280 hours (equivalent to 8 weeks) pro rata per year in the second.
