We are recruiting for a Painter to join our Property team.
Our Property team is responsible for the management of a portfolio of over 500 properties varying in size throughout Glasgow and the team consists of general administration, maintenance workers, technicians and painters.
The Painter will carry out planned and reactive redecoration works to ensure that properties are available to let as soon as possible.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Effective delivery of a sustainable, high quality redecoration service for all domestic and commercial properties within the Right There portfolio
- Recording of labour, materials, and consumables used in the delivery of the service

Prepping of walls, ceilings, surfaces, and woodwork
- Taping Work
- Painting of both internal and external surfaces with gloss, emulsions, wood stains, varnish, primer and undercoat.
- Stripping, cutting and hanging wallpaper

Planned maintenance, redecorations and property inspections on a scheduled basis
- Respond to emergency redecoration requests as required
- Completion of void inspection and planned maintenance paperwork

We're looking for someone that has gained experience of carrying out redecoration works including prepping, painting and wallpapering. You will also have a thorough understanding of Health and Safety and you will be able to plan and organise your workload.
A full valid driving license is an essential requirement.
What you can expect from us..
- The post holder will report to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Your usual place of work will be Rosemount Business Park, Unit E2, 141-145 Charles Street, Glasgow, G21 2QA. You are required to work across all Right There services.
- Your normal working hours are 35 per week worked Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with 1-hour unpaid break
- Annual leave entitlement of 210 hours (equivalent to 6 weeks) pro rata in your first year, rising to 280 hours (equivalent to 8 weeks) pro rata in your second year. This includes public holidays
- You will automatically be enrolled into the People's Pension in the month that you will complete 3-months of employment, providing you meet the auto-enrolment criteria
